Here’s a fun announcement! (And then after we’ll look at pretty Paris pictures, because that’s what we do here.)
I was contacted by Oliver Gee to be a guest on his Paris radio show The Earful Tower, which explores the city through talks with expats. I encourage you to follow the show’s Facebook page. You’ll thoroughly enjoy Oliver’s interviews, plus he’s got a cool Australian accent.
Intrigued, I agreed to sign on. Slight problem: leading up to the show Oliver was deceptively vague each time I inquired about the actual subject of the interview. Even as I entered the studio and positioned myself in front of the microphone, it was still a secret.
“It’ll make the show better if you don’t know,” is all I kept hearing. So as the producer flicked the ON AIR switch I drew a deep breath, took a sip of water, and embraced the unknown. What happened next? Some of you already know. But for those who haven’t heard it you can listen to my appearance here.
Spoiler alert – it turned out to be a great chat and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. In fact my episode, distributed by World Radio Paris, is now the most downloaded in the company’s two-year history! So feeling grateful for that.
Have a listen and let me know in the comments what you think. To get an accompanying list and handy map of the addresses I talk about in the show, click here. And remember to follow The Earful Tower on Facebook to help Oliver continue his quest for ultimate Paris knowledge.
Now as promised, some unpublished photos that I’m rather fond of at the moment. Enjoy and have a great day!

Ohhh I really do like that photo of the Canopy of Forum des Halles – You’ve managed to give it that artistic touch. I was just there earlier today and it made me look at it totally differently – Thanks for that! The other pictures are amazing too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much byddi, I’m happy to hear that because finding an artistic side of Paris is what I love to do! I’m happy to have you as a follower and can’t wait to share more photos.
Really enjoyed your interview on Earful Tower! It made me feel like quite the insider because I had been to almost everything you selected in each arrondissement. My favorite thing to do in the 13th is to visit all the beautiful street art murals and then eat Chinese!
Thank you Joyce, I appreciate it. Bravo for being to so many of those areas! You’re right about the 13th and I could have easily mentioned the street art. Amazing! Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
Corey, I will listen tomorrow as I need to get to bed, but might I just say that your images are ‘magnifique’!!! Wow, I am so inspired by them. What a feast for my eyes tonight. Thank you!
My pleasure! I’m happy to have other Paris lovers to share them with. 🙂 It’d be a shame to keep them to myself!
You TOTALLY earned your moniker as “The Paris Whisperer” with this one, Corey. Absolutely gorgeous photos too. Well done, sir!
Hehe yeah the Paris Whisperer…didn’t expect that one! I’m just glad I didn’t botch the test. I hope you’re well Heather!
Excellent interview, such a great list, can’t wait to explore next time I’m in Paris. And public W.C.’s that are clean are very important to me. ;) Thanks. :)
Thanks so much, it was a fun interview and I’m sure I’ll be back on the show eventually. Take care DE!
You generate such joie de vivre through your pictures; the interview was an added bonus.
That’s so nice to hear Maureen! Thank you so much for following along. I do have true live for this city and I do my best to put that into my pictures.
What a wondeful eye..you have a gift
Thank you! I try my best. 🙂
