Most towns here have a local market, this is ours. It only happens two mornings a week, but within walking distance so it’s likely to become a weekly routine. These kinds of spots are what I always loved seeing in videos of France, a bustling group of nearby farmers, butchers, bakers and fish mongers while a voice-over explains how local grannies up the authenticity factor by snubbing supermarkets. These are a few shots I managed to take before the neon tourist sign on my forehead started flashing.
OMG!!! Is that foie gras ensconced in cheese with nuts??? I NEED that!!
